It's important to note that many midi loft beds that have desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This isn't included in the price of the bed, so we suggest looking at our fantastic mattress deals to find one that fits your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds take standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk comes with a security rail for extra peace of mind. Some models come with a fabulous pull out trundle drawer for sleepovers or additional storage space beneath the bed. These can be either open or fitted with a door (please refer to the product details for more details).
A lot of midi cabins have the option of a desk that can be moved between the two upper levels or chests of drawers. This gives children a customized space for all their belongings and means there's no need to use precious floor space with bulky wardrobes or shelving units.
Some models have gone a step further with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or a part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storage of books and toys.
